Why it is important to have a strong nation?
- Being in an strong nation will be a mandatory parameter otherwise, a paralyzed country will make citizens and resources incapacitated.
What exactly comes in our mind when we talk about nation? What is a nation?
To build an strong nation we need to understand what exactly nation is(a nation in a large body where people United by common,decent ,history ,culture ,or language) if this is what is nation THEN what is a country (a country is a political state or a controlled,territory with some power) “which we call government”
Nation is an“Idea” a fully planned scenario. When everyone worked on this ‘idea’ we got the results in form of country .
Now how can we build it strong?
strong means: having or marked by great power, moral or intellectual power great resources.
Nation is an “idea” and when we make our “idea” a passion and work on that passion with dedication we build a strong nation.
It is a multidimensional concept , everyone should walk together ,unification of people is really important.
Factor on which we have to work
1.Education -“youth are asset of the country” an educated country will be a powerful country, ( Don’t confuse education with literacy) Its not mandatory that a literate person is educated person . An educated person can be literate , every literate person cannot be educated. “An educated person will have knowledge and skill to look beyond the standard meaning to find the hidden complexity ,they will know about everything around them and have necessary skill to navigate the world .
Education is one of the fundamental factor,develops person ideology and values ,it gives ability to think with reason. Education is the most important factor.
2.System-A set of principles or procedures according to which something is done; an organized scheme or method.System is a backbone of a country and backbone should be strong. when in democratic things work for the people,by the people, so when people choose their representative to work them ,what if that executives don’t work for us the way we want them to work?
There should be"RIGHT TO RECALL"( The right of citizens to recall a representative or executive)
Recall would help in political education of the people and would encourage voters to think, and will encourage elected executive to work more to satisfy people. Changes in system is important to have more resources.”POPULATION” the system should take action on “Vote responsibly” A wrong party can stall a country’s growth for many years due to its wrong or weak policy.Every one becomes a looser then.
3. People - Democracy gives freedom, rights , liberty , with great democracy comes great responsibility.
What kind of citizens we should be?
- Nation requires it’s soldiers to save itself from uncertainties.
- Nation requires it’s financial soldiers to provide it with financial resources. You can contribute by becoming independent.
- Increasing a nation’s productivity.
- By educating others about stopping child marriage and encouraging girl education, you are actually helping the government in its social issues. Remember, if a man is educated, then only a man gets educated, but if a girl gets educated, an entire family gets educated. A mother is the first teacher of the child. It is a social victory and you are contributing to it.
- Get to know and follow fundamental duties.
- Lastly, If many people start thinking like this and take action,the nation will have many hands to increase it’s growth rate.
4. Industrialization- It plays an important role in the promotion of trade. The advanced nation gain in trade than countries who are industrially backward. The underdeveloped countries export primary products and import industrial products. Agricultural products command lower prices and their demand is generally elastic. Industrialization is the process by which an economy moves from primarily agrarian production to mass-produced and technologically advanced goods and services. This phase is characterized by exponential leaps in productivity, shifts from rural to urban labor, and increased standards of living. By typical measurements, such as income per capital or labor productivity, industrialization can be considered the most important economic development in nation .
Military -All of the forms of power that determine the level of power enjoyed by a country, none is more obvious to the lay observer than a country’s military power. For one, a country with a strong military typically enjoys a higher degree of security and stability than a state that is militarily weaker than its neighbors and potential rivals. Likewise, a country with an advantage in terms of military power has the ability to seize or reduce another state’s power in many other areas, including economic-, political- or resource-based power. For many states, it was the development of their military power that proved to be the catalyst for their rise to great power status. For others, a lack of military power proved to be the undoing of states that were either once great powers or who had capability to rise to great power status, but failed to do so.
Strong nation will affect the personality of an individual,every country have their own distinct personality Even population density could play a part. Recent evidence suggests that living in a crowded environment leads us to adopt a more future-oriented mindset, such as investing more in long-term relationships, perhaps in part as a way to deal with increased competition with other people; in other words, just the kind of approach you would associate with higher-trait conscientiousness.Whatever the causes, once regional differences in personality are established, one possibility is that they may become self-perpetuating as there is evidence that people are drawn to live in areas occupied by others with similar character profiles to their own. strong nation will build a strong personality of their citizens.
For a better survival we need a better base to stand,that is standing on a strong nation,which would not obtained effortlessly but by working on these ideas.As a society and a nation we must always move forward but first we must concrete the base on which we stand and have a firm grip so that in future endeavors no matter the ferocity of blows we as a nation must stand united.
